In this vid (see above) we take a quick look at the new Narva LED Strobe light.

LED beacons have been around for a long time, but this one presents a brand-new shape to the market. Due to the aerodynamic profile, they've branded this new product "Aerotech".

When you mount them, the recommendation is to have the flat face facing the front of the vehicle. Apparently, this reduces drag. Without taking away from other excellent features, I wouldn't say aerodynamics is something you'd want to be concerned with.

They come in two height versions. In the vid I think I say the one in my hand is a 'standard' - looking now it's the 'tall' version. And there's also the low version. Sorry 'bout that. They also come in a low profile. The difference is the number of LED layered lights.

They also come with a few different bases - flange base, single bolt mount, pole mount, flexible mount and a magnetic base. They have a light sensor for day and night, plus they are class one approved, so they are suitable for road, civil, and mining sites.

They've got a 7-year warranty and are advertised to be unbreakable, but I'd debate that. All lights come with the same mounting holes as the old ones, so assembly to replace the old ones with the new ones is easy. It's a thumbs-up from me. A great little unit. They pretty much replace all halogen strobe lights on the market now.
