If I could, I'd paint RED SHED pink for this Sterling September-run campaign.

What a great initiative—we’re proud to be part of Sterling’s *Handled With Care* campaign, backing the incredible work of the McGrath Foundation.

Why this campaign matters

Cancer doesn’t discriminate, but it often hits rural families hardest.

Access to health services can be limited outside the major cities, and specialist breast care nurses aren’t always close by. That’s where the McGrath Foundation makes the difference—funding and placing McGrath Breast Care Nurses across Australia so that no family has to face a diagnosis alone.

The numbers are sobering

  • 1 in 2 Australians are expected to be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
  • 169,500 new case are projected this year.
  • In regional and rural towns, outcomes are often poorer simply because support is harder to reach.

McGrath Nurses help close that gap—providing essential care, information and compassion to families when they need it most.

More than 161,000 families have already been supported.

Buy Pink Black Panther Snips and Sterling will donate $2 for every purchase

Sterling has released a limited-edition Pink Black Panther Industrial Snip (29-721P) as one of the flagship products of this campaign.

For every one sold, Sterling donates $2 to the McGrath Foundation.

We sold out in two days. So we've had to double the order quantity.

Yep. We sold out with heaps more coming soon instore to last through the campaign.

These snips aren’t just super pretty in pink. Here's why they're worth the buy...

  • Japanese 420J2 stainless steel blades with anti-slip serrations.
  • Cuts light-gauge wire, strapping, packaging, card, even materials that normally call for a knife.
  • Single-handed lock, smooth resistance-free action,
  • ambidextrous soft-grip handles,
  • Chemical-resistant, job-site tough, with lanyard holes to keep them close.

In other words—they’re the sort of all-rounder you’ll reach for daily. And every time you do, you'll be reminded of your good deed. They're also limited edition so they'll be a prized pair of snips in years to come

Building on community support

This isn’t the first time we’ve backed a cause bigger than ourselves. You might remember our recent involvement with the Trakkit Toolbox for a Community Cause, where together with Trakkit we put practical gear to work raising funds for a local need. That project showed us how powerful it can be when industry, suppliers, and community pull in the same direction.

The *Handled With Care* campaign by Sterling is the same idea, just on a national scale.

A simple purchase becomes a way to stand behind the nurses who stand beside families—including those right here in our own regional backyard.

Why you should act now

This is a limited-edition run. Once the pink snips are gone, that’s it. If you want a tool that cuts clean, lasts long, and puts some care back into the community, now’s the time.

If it's for a good cause, I'll wear anything.

I'm up for a bit of fun for a good cause any day. I didn't expect to have to wear a pink tutu though. Ballet shoes? Jeez. That's next level.

Do your bit and help the McGrath foundation any way you can. Purchase some Limited Edition Sterling Pink Snips while you can.

Cheers - Craig

P.S. Pink definitely looks good on me.
