Industrial Sales Representative

Location: Emerald QLD 4720

About the Role

A solid sales role for someone with genuine industry experience who can confidently support customers, process orders, and help keep their operations moving. This role suits someone practical, organised, and customer-focused who understands the products, the industries, and the importance of getting things right the first time.

You'll be working with tools, PPE, spare parts, consumables, and industrial supplies, helping customers find what they need and delivering the service they expect.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Customer Service:

• Respond to customer enquiries and provide product advice
• Prepare quotations and process customer orders
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships
• Follow up quotations and sales opportunities
• Source products and solutions to meet customer requirements
• Coordinate orders through to delivery
• Work closely with suppliers and customers to ensure a smooth process
• Maintain accurate customer and sales records in NetSuite

What We’re Looking For

We're after someone who understands industry and has experience in environments such as:

• Mining and industrial supply
• Tools, PPE, and consumables
• Trade, workshop, or maintenance support
• Automotive, transport, or parts supply
• Wholesale distribution or internal sales

You will also have:

• Experience in wholesale sales, internal sales, trade sales, or customer service
• Confidence working with technical products, parts, or industrial supplies
• Strong communication skills and a practical approach to problem solving
• Experience preparing quotations and processing orders
• Confidence using NetSuite or similar business systems
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
• A willingness to take ownership and follow through on commitments
